Hi, Welcome to the Mayo Plodders little corner of the internet!
The site was set up by Pete, our big bad boss..... (just kidding, he's a pussycat really!) and although the early members all hail from the West of Ireland, the forum is open to any and all, regardless of where you come from, or how you live. We all have one thing in common, the desire to save money and be a little more self-reliant by providing for ourselves.
No, we're not totally self-sufficient, nor are we your typical 'greenies', we just do what we can, where we can. And we'd like to help you to do the same, if you'll let us.
So whether you have your own farm, garden, patio or even a large windowsill, the only tool you need to become a member is a PC!
You don't have to have flocks of chickens, or herds of goats, if you're interested in making friends and saving a bit of cash by becoming a little more self-reliant, then come and join us, and let's see if we can help each other - a community as it should be.
